The ION Program Management department is well versed in Lean Six Sigma, and EVM practices. ION’s program management organization provides single-point responsibility and responsive customer communication, by utilizing the Closed Loop Control Concept. In planning the program activities, the program manager will employ the Integrated Product Team (IPT) approach. In this approach, multi-functional team members work together with a product-oriented focus for the express purpose of delivering a product that is fully compliant with our customer’s needs. We use this management philosophy to assure that integrated decisions affecting product design are always made. Goals are set by mutual agreement between area supervisors and the ION program manager. The program manager will monitor technical achievement, procurement, manpower allocations and costs and will make any needed corrections to keep the program on schedule and within budget.

ION is capable of providing full provisioning services for all customers. The provisioning includes, but is not limited to, the Support Equipment Requirements Document (SERD), the Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD), and Supplemental Data For Provisioning (SDFP) in accordance with MIL-PRF-49506. These data package provides full hardware logistics support for any and all hardware.
